18 March 2016. It's a cool morning. The stranglehold of the prolonged drought in this area is a thing of the past due to heavy ☔ in the past few days. This has brought much relief and high expectations for all the people in this area,which is regarded as the 🍞 basket of the country ,producing maize 🌽 and sunflower 🌻 . Today is a special day for my wife ,Elizabeth ,(Leelamma ),who is retiring at the end of this month .In fact ,this is her last working day because today the schools are closing for the Easter holidays .She has been the Principal of Bakolobeng Secondary School 🏫 since January ,2015 .I retired in 2014,but I used to go to the school with her ,offering some random assistance . The distance from Delareyville to Gannalagte village is 35 Kms .Every day ,we leave at 6.45 a.m . Late -arrival is not in our dictionary .I cover the distance in 30 -35 minutes .The journey has three stages .The first 14 kms is excellent national road ,where one can even drive blindfolded

A huge media conference in Thiruvananthapuram.The CM (Chief Magician)  Oommen Chandy is announcing the final list of candidates for the 2016 elections. He reads the list. I really feel sorry for the politicians in Kerala across party lines, in their desperate scramble to get a nomination to get a seat 💺 to contest the forthcoming elections .It's like climbing into an already overloaded bus .Everybody wants to get a foothold .Only the top magicians can solve the problem of seat allocation .In the UDF ,Oommen Chandy is the most experienced magician .His survival as CM for five years ,against mammoth odds proved his extraordinary  skills as a political magician . Seat at allocation is like a miracle performed by Jesus Christ .He fed a large crowd of 5000 people with five loaves of bread 🍞. In Kerala, a large crowd is clamoring for seats. In one respect, Kerala politicians are more decent than the seat aspirants of North India. They regard the splinter parties as a splinter in the flesh, causing irritation and pain.
