We the impartial common people of Kerala, condemn in the strongest terms the attack on your young journalists by CPM
Goondas at Kozhikode yesterday. We sympathize with those innocent young men who were doing their duty, and wish them a speedy recovery.
But we don't sympathize with you as a media house because the ๐ฃ have come home ๐ก to roost. For the past five years, you have been a mouthpiece and running ๐ถ of the CPM, colluding with them in a fruitless misadventure to unseat the Oommen Chandy government by hook or by crook, whereby you boosted their arrogance and their culture of violence. All along, you played second fiddle to the CPM 's vicious campaign to tarnish the image of Oommen Chandy, using fraudsters and whores who fabricated baseless corruption charges against him.
Take for example Saritha. We don't understand the Solar Scam. As far as we know, that ๐ฉ defrauded many people, in the name of Solar energy. But you elevated her to celebrity status by giving her undeserved coverage. You engaged in silly ๐ ๐ฉ tricks by publishing Saritha 's photos juxtaposing with Oommen Chandy ' s. You demonized Oommen Chandy, KM Mani etc, and idolized PC George to use him as a tool for mud -slinging from dawn to dusk. Because of you, George is now road -based. (vazhiyadharam).
The attack on your journalists isn't an isolated incident. In 2013, Oommen Chandy was attacked in Kannoor. TP Sreenivasan was attacked in broad daylight. They have developed a culture of murder ,intimidation and violence, which is rejected by the majority of the people of Kerala.
The attack on your journalists will cost the CPM a few million votes.
It's now time ⌚ for you to do a thorough soul -searching ๐ and adopt a professional, unbiased style of reporting. It's high time to rein in biased presenters like Vinu John. In debates, he favours opponents of the UDF, giving them extra talk time, and shouts loudly when a UDF rep. speaks. and He chokes with emotion when his arguments are rubbished.
The majority of the people of Kerala want peace, prosperity and harmony. We don't want murder and mayhem. We don't want anarchy.
Now that you have learned a bitter lesson, give up your bias and conduct your affairs in a professional manner.
