Of late, I have become very disillusioned with BBR politics. We, the ordinary people are taken for a ride by all political parties and Alliances. All are hypocrites and opportunists.

What prompted your about -turn?
Kunjan
I have realized that nothing is going to change here in the Banana Republic. Things might get worse.(pointing to an empty gas cylinder).. Look,we haven't had gas for two weeks now. The water tap is dry. The rubber price is rubbish. I don't think I will be employed again.
Ammini
Chetta, you are absolutely correct. We, the ordinary people live in a Fool's paradise, hoping endlessly for good new days, which will never materialize.
KUNJAN
At least now, I realize it.

I don't understand the Solar Scam Commission. Can you please explain to me.
KUNJAN
Actually, I also don't understand it. Looks like a megaserial extending to doomsday. As we put it in Kerala, "ulli tholichathu pole"

So,what would be the outcome of it?
KUNJAN
Volumes and volumes of reports or findings of the Commission, loaded on wheelbarrows, unread by anybody. But I can assure you,if this case was in America, Saritha would have been in prison for a long term now.

Anyway, I see a silver lining in the political horizon of the BBK.

Are you aware that regardless of whether the UDF or LDF is in power, we are ruled by VVOL.

We are ruled by very very old leaders,ie VVOL,in other words leaders with pure silver hairs,like Oommen Chandy, VS, Pinarayi, PP Thankachen etc.

So what is the problem?
KUNJAN
We should follow the example of America. They have many silver -haired ex-presidents;Jimmy Carter, Senior Bush,Bill Clinton, junior Bush,all silver -haired. And Obama is retiring shortly. He is young enough to be the great -grandson of VS. Yet, VS is contesting in the elections. Oommen Chandy is also contesting.

KUNJAN
With all due respect to the VVOL, I suggest that all politicians should retire at the age of 65, across party lines. VS, Pinarayi, Oommen Chandy, KM Mani, KR Gouri etc must retire with dignity,and of course, with attractive severance packages as in South Africa. It's called golden handshake!

Good idea, but who will accept your idea?
KUNJAN
There's no other option. Besides, retirement villages should be established in all major cities to resettle the VVOL, where they can live in peace and harmony, burying old hatchets. I envisage a village where VS, Oommen Chandy, Pinarayi, Mani etc live together as good neighbors, and give a good example to the people.

You are a dreamer. Nobody is going to listen to your ideas.

No problem. But we must acknowledge that we are backward when compared with the Americans. VVOL must give way to youngsters... Can you cook some kappa?
